Pandora

Pandora version 5.1 added the option to use the app as an alarm clock. The Alarm Clock feature is located in the settings section of any individual radio station. You can enable and set the Pandora Alarm Clock by following these instructions:

1. Open the radio station you want to use as your alarm.
2. Tap the three bars on the top right-hand side of the display.

The Sleep Timer option on the Pandora Radio app is located in the setting section of your individual radio stations. To access it, open the radio station you want to listen to before you go to bed, and tap the three bars on the top right-hand side of your display, then scroll down until you see the Sleep Timer tab. Tap the tab to open the drop box and select the amount of time (15 min, 30 min or 60 min) you want the Sleep Timer to shut Pandora down. You can also set the new Alarm Clock feature from this menu.

Pandora Radio allows you to create your own personal stations based on your musical taste, listen to other user created stations, or listen to any of Pandora's pre-made genre stations. To create your own station just search an artist, song or composer in the Search box. You an also create a new station by using the thumbs up button while a song is playing, and you can use the thumbs down button to let Pandora know you do not like an artist.

You are allowed to create up to 100 personalized stations on one account.

All Pandora profiles are public by default, but you can make your account private by following these steps:

iPad

1. Tap the gear icon
2. Navigate to Settings > Privacy
3. Tap the Pandora Profile toggle button so it displays OFF, and your account will now be private

iPhone / iPod

1. Tap the back button while on the Now Playing screen
2. Navigate to Settings > Privacy
3. Tap the Pandora Profile toggle button so it displays OFF, and your account will now be private

Pandora recommends restarting your device if you're having trouble streaming its radio service on iOS. You might also want to make sure your device is capable of running Pandora. The Pandora Radio app requires iOS 5 or later to work. You can follow these steps to find out what version of iOS your device is running:

Navigate to Settings > General > About and scroll down to "Version." This will let you know what version of iOS your device is running.

Pandora is free on the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad, however the free service is supported by advertisements and has restrictions. A paid Pandora subscription allows you to listen to higher quality ad-free music and gives your more "skips" than the free version. Subscriptions start at $3.99 a month.

You can download the Pandora Radio iOS app for free from the App Store. It requires iOS 5.0 or later.
