Legend of Grimrock now available for the iPad

Developer Almost Human has released its first person dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock to the App Store. The iPad version, which has been in closed beta for a few months, is now available to download for $4.99.

Legend of Grimrock was originally released to Windows and OS X in 2012. The game was well received by both critics and gamers upon its release, and it spawned a sequel in 2014.

Zombie Goat Simulator Coming to iOS on Thursday

If you've been wishing for a video game where you can craft items and fight zombies as a goat then today is your lucky day. Coffee Stain Studios has just released a trailer to Goatz -- the first zombie goat simulator. Goatz is an expansion to the popular Goat Simulator on Steam, but it will also be released as a standalone app for iOS devices on May 7.

The action-RPG Marvel Future Fight, which has been making a big splash on the Australian App Store, will launch worldwide before The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015. The game is a 3D beat'em up title where players can select a team of up to three superheroes to complete quests and do battle. Players can quickly switch between characters on their team during gameplay and use tag team moves with other Marvel superheroes to defeat enemies.

RPG 'Avernum 2: Crystal Souls' Makes its Way to the iPad

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls is now available for the iPad. In the game players control a party of up to four characters who must defend the subterranean land Avernum from the evil the Empire. The iPad version of the game is a port of the 2015 reboot which was released to OS X and Microsoft Windows in January. The first three games in the series were originally released under the title Exile by Jeff Vogel of Spiderweb Software in 1995.

Avernum 2: Crystal Souls HD

In Crystal Souls, players must find a way to stop the Empire from retaking control of Avernum. Players can train their characters in 28 different skills and utilize over 60 spells to help defend the alien civilization who live in the many caves and dungeons beneath the surface world. The game features 100 towns and dungeons to explore, multiple alien cultures to encounter and hundreds of magical artifacts to collect. Avernum also includes 50 hours of gameplay with three separate game-winning quests and a dozen of side quests to complete.

Boss Monster Now Available for the iPad

The Kickstarter funded, collectible card game Boss Monster has been turned into a mobile title for iOS and Android tablets. Brotherwise Games has teamed up with developer Plain Concepts to bring their dungeon-building title to the iPad. The iOS version is exactly like the tabletop game, except players do not have to keep track of their own stats and can play up to 3 AI opponents at the same time. In the game players use cards to build and crawl dungeons in a side-scrolling adventure full of 8-bit monsters and treasure.

DuckTales: Remastered

Boss Monster features retro art inspired by NES video games, RPG elements and plenty of "geeky pop culture" references, according to the official website. The physical card game is available for $25. The starter set includes 155 full-color cards, and there is a 26-card mini-expansion called "Tools of a Hero Kind" available for $10.

The HD remake of the original DuckTales video game is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Disney's DuckTales was originally released to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. The game quickly became one of Capcom's best selling titles and is considered to be one of the best 8-bit video games ever released.

DuckTales: Remastered

The iOS version of the game includes the same cane hopping gameplay as the 8-bit version, but it features new graphics plus the original voices and production art from the show. In the game, players take control of Scrooge McDuck who must travel around the world in search of the five Legendary Treasures. Along the way players will travel to the Himalayas, Amazon, Transylvania, African mines, and the Moon while discovering diamonds and other characters from the show. Players must use clues to unlock secret areas and defeat five boss characters to win the five main treasures and beat the game.

Macho Man and Stone Cold Join WWE Immortals Roster

NetherRealm Studios has updated WWE Immortals for WrestleMania Week. The update brings the game to version 1.2 and adds two new wrestlers. Macho Man Randy Savage and Stone Cold Steve Austin are now available as playable characters. Each wrestler comes with two playable varieties: Renegade and Macho King for Macho Man, and Icebound Watcher and Texas Rattlesnake for Stone Cold.

WWE Immortals

Players can now also compete for "ultra-rare" WrestleMania gear until April 2nd. Anyone who places in the top 50% on the leaderboards will receive "2-star WrestleMania Ticket Gear." The release notes also promise "Royal Challenges" are on the way.
