Facebook iPad App Updated for the New iPad

It only took a month but Facebook has finally released Version 4.1.1 of their iPad app. The update brings Retina display graphics for the new iPad, a few new features and a few bug fixes. You should've already received an update notification if you already have the Facebook application installed. If not check the Updates section by clicking your Applications icon.

This update also applies to the iPhone. The Facebook application is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It requires iOS 4.0 or later.

Facebook Finally Releases an iPad App

Facebook announced on Monday that its official iPad app is available for download via the Apple App Store. The new app is designed to fit the entire screen of the iPad, and allows access to more Facebook games and applications.

Other features include a hands-on news feed, bigger and better photos, the ability to chat with friends and play games in full screen mode. You can also watch high-res videos and record and share HD. Hours after TechCrunch discovered a hidden code for the Facebook iPad app, Facebook closed the door leaving many iPad users stuck out in the cold. Luckily for Facebook fans, the coder known as Chpwn, found a way around the FaceBook block for jailbreak users.
