The iPad sketching app Paper by FiftyThree has been updated with Think Kit. The new feature adds three new tools which allow users to "create diagrams, charts, and wireframes at the speed of thought," according to the release notes. Think Kit is powered by FiftyThree's "Intention Engine," which CEO Georg Petschnigg described as "autocorrect for drawing".
"When you're working on a mobile device, you always have to tell it what you want to do before you can do it, " Petschnigg told The Verge in March. "Open a keyboard to type. Grab a shape or a pen tool to draw. We want to make it possible to create with a fluid ease, without having to prompt the computer first.""
The three new Think Kit tools are Diagram, Fill and Cut.
Diagram is a "smart pen" that allows users to easily draw "smart shapes" and connect them with lines to create pie charts, diagrams and so on. The Fill and Cut tools allows users to further flesh-out their designs and easily rearrange items with ease. You can see the new tools at work in the video below.
The app has also been updated with PowerPoint and Keynote support so you can export your work.
Paper by FiftyThree and Think Kit is available for free on the Apple App Store.
